From the cover of Concerto for Three:

Sandra Miller is a violinist who has performed in the Nevada Symphony Orchestra and the UNLV Symphony. She has played in TV commercials, musicals, and played in the band for a Kenny Rogers show. She earned her Bachelor of Music from UNLV and taught junior high school orchestra for a year. Living in Las Vegas for ten years gave her ample opportunity to perform many different styles of music in many different venues. Her long and varied experience in music is reflected in the backdrop for her novel Concerto for Three; the fictional National Philharmonic Symphony. After leaving Las Vegas she went to graduate school to study computer science. Currently she works as a software developer in Arkansas.
