Call Forwarding automatically reroutes calls to any number you choose, even your cell phone.
How To Use:
To turn on, press 72#. At the dial tone, enter the number to which you want your calls forwarded. To turn off, press 73#.
If you transfer calls to a location outside your local calling area, you are responsible for toll or long distance charges to wherever you are forwarding your calls.
Back to TopCall Waiting lets you put one call on hold while you answer a second one, then alternate between the two.
How To Use:
While on the phone, a gentle tone alerts you to another call. Press and release the receiver button to find out who is calling. By clicking again, you can go back to the first call. To turn off Call Waiting for a particular call, press *70 before you make the call. A busy signal will be given to your callers during the next call you make.
Speed Calling lets you reach frequently dialed local or long distance numbers by dialing a one or two digit code.
- To Establish Your Speed Calling List
- 1. Listen for dial tone and dial 74 (for 8-code calling) or 75 (for 30 code calling).
- 2. Depress the # button. (With a rotary dial phone, skip this step and allow a 4 second pause.)
- 3. Dial one of the 8 one-digit access code numbers (2-9) for 8-code Speed Calling or dial one of the 30 two-digit access code numbers (20-49) for 30-code Speed Calling.
- 4. Dial the complete local or long distance number you are assigning to that code.

How To Use
Talk with two friends or family members in separate locations, or discuss a business project with two people on the line. Just dial a number, press and release the receiver button to get a second dial tone, then dial the second number. Press and release the button again to connect the two calls at once.
Caller ID
If you have a telephone with Caller ID display capacity, or an adjunct unit, Caller ID shows you the name and number of the person who is calling on the screen before you answer the phone, so you can choose which calls to pick up and which to return at a more convenient time.
Restrictions and Requirements
Caller ID requires display equipment. The name and number displayed are those associated with the line from which the call is made. It may not be available in all areas or on all calls and may not be available internationally. Some calls may be blocked by the calling parties and some names and numbers may not be available.
Call Trace feature allows you to have obscene or threatening calls traced automatically on most numbers.
How To Use:
- 1. When you receive an obscene or harassing call, just hang up.
- 2. Wait 10 seconds, pick up your phone again and listen for a normal dial tone.
- 3. Press *57 (or dial 1157 on a rotary dial phone). Listen for a confirmation announcement that the last call has been traced. Hang up.
- 4. If the details of the call you are attempting to trace are not available, you will receive an error message instead of a confirmation announcement.
- 5. The numbers you traced will be recorded at the telephone company. If you decide to follow up on the matter, we'll provide the numbers to the local authorities.
Telemarketer Call Screening
You wouldn't let strangers through your front door whenever they want, so why let anyone call you whenever they want?
Telemarketer Call Screening intercepts calls, announces that you do not accept calls from telemarketers and instructs them to add you to their "Do Not Call" list. It 'remembers' accepted callers so they always get through. Next time your phone rings, know it's someone you want to hear from. Telemarketer Call Screening. What more could you ask for?
